AXA Hong Kong, Macau unveil insurance for domestic helpers

The coverage offers employees compensation up to HK$100m.

AXA Hong Kong and Macau have introduced SmartHelper Plus, a comprehensive insurance plan offering extensive assistance for domestic helpers.

It includes replacement coverage for situations such as abrupt departures, early termination of contracts, or intentional harm caused by the helper to your family. 

The plan also provides immediate medical benefits with no excess, covering various expenses

Moreover, it safeguards against financial losses resulting from fraud or dishonesty by the insured helper (up to HK$8,000), unpaid loans from employers (up to HK$10,000) in case of repatriation due to death or medical unfitness, and offers employees compensation up to HK$100m.

In addition to foreign domestic helpers, the SmartHelper Plus plan extends its protection to local domestic helpers and postnatal care helpers, addressing the diverse needs of families in Hong Kong across different life stages. 

Policies are issued instantly, enabling immediate coverage. Policyholders can easily access their policies and submit claims through Emma by AXA mobile app, streamlining the claims process and providing prompt customer support.
