BMS opens Mumbai capability centre

The India hub will support broking operations, technology, analytics and client service.

BMS, the independent insurance and reinsurance broker, unveiled the Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Mumbai.

The company said this is part of their strategy to build data, analytics and artificial intelligence (AI) capability at scale.

The centre is led by Nipun Mapara, Managing Director, with Sanjeev Poojari appointed as Head of Operations.

As an integrated part of the group, the BMS India GCC will work alongside BMS teams globally across broking operations, data, analytics, technology and client service functions.

The GCC is central to BMS’s long-term operating model, broadening its access to talent, skills and AI expertise in India, whilst strengthening collaboration and consistency across the business.
