Bupa appoints ex-AIA director as new general manager
He is a vetaran in the industry with 26 years of experience.
Health insurance specialist Bupa Hong Kong has appointed Yuman Chan as General Manager of the Bupa Insurance Business in Hong Kong.
Chan has over 26 years of experience in the insurance industry across regional markets including Asia, Europe and the US in roles related to technology, change and risk management, as well as operations and strategy. Prior to joining Bupa, Yuman was the Director of Strategy at AIA Group Office. He also previously held senior leadership roles with Cigna Hong Kong and AIG. He has led a number of initiatives and projects that have driven significant growth in the insurance business.
In his new role, Yuman will focus on curating a holistic healthcare ecosystem beyond health protection to empower end-to-end health and care with Bupa-branded medical centres and wellness offerings. Yuman will also expand Bupa’s health insurance capability by innovating around comprehensive health propositions to further grow our corporate and individual businesses.
