Bupa Hong Kong names new head of health

He has nearly two decades of experience in the insurance industry.

Bupa Hong Kong appointed Raymond Young as director of Distribution and Sales, Health Insurance, effective 2 January. 

In this role, Young will oversee the growth of Bupa’s individual and group health insurance businesses through intermediary channels, focusing on strengthening broker relationships, implementing new sales strategies, and forming strategic partnerships, particularly in the digital sector.

With nearly 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, Young has expertise in sales, distribution, and employee benefits. 

He has managed corporate client portfolios, led business development teams, and built strong relationships with brokers, intermediaries, and corporate partners. 

His experience spans group medical, life insurance, pension services, bancassurance, and individual business partnerships.
