Central Bank of India, TATA AIG to offer insurance for MSME payments

This partnership was forged on the eve of the 144th birth anniversary of the bank’s founder.

The Central Bank of India, in partnership with TATA AIG General Insurance Company, Ltd., has launched TReDS Insurance Policy to boost security and confidence amongst micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and financiers on Trade Receivables Discounting System (TReDS) platforms.

This partnership was forged on the eve of the 144th birth anniversary of the bank’s founder, Sorabji Pochkhanawala.

General managers Pravin Kini and Sohail Ahmad represented the bank in securing the deal with Deepak Kumar, EVP of TATA AIG.
