CFC expands in Australia, rebrands Solution Underwriting

It plans to further extend into management liability, technology, media, and IP.

CFC, a specialist insurance provider, announced that Australian underwriting agency Solution Underwriting has officially rebranded as CFC.  

CFC acquired Solution Underwriting, which focuses on financial lines insurance, in April 2024. 

Since the acquisition, the business has expanded its offerings in Australia by adding local capabilities in cyber and transaction liability. 

It plans to further extend its expertise into management liability, technology, media, and intellectual property in the coming months.

With the rebrand, the Solution name has been retired, and the business now operates entirely under the CFC brand. 

Managing director Anita Lane said the transition allows the company to introduce new products whilst providing brokers with access to market-leading insurance services. 

She added that CFC’s existing partner network will benefit from Solution’s expertise in financial lines.

CFC now has over 100 staff across five offices in four Australian states, with teams in Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney supporting brokers across eight business lines, including cyber. It also operates a proactive cyber security team on the Gold Coast.
