CFC launches Connect portal for cyber insurance in New Zealand

The portal also lets brokers adjust limits and deductibles without underwriter input.

CFC has introduced its new trading portal, Connect, and a free Cyber Masterclass series in New Zealand to support brokers in placing cyber cover.

Connect allows brokers to generate cyber insurance quotes of up to $29.6m (NZ$50m) from a single client web address and bind policies within minutes.

The portal also lets brokers adjust limits and deductibles without underwriter input and provides benchmarks on limits and claims by industry and size.

The Cyber Masterclass, accredited by the Insurance Brokers Association of New Zealand (IBANZ) and the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIF), is designed to improve brokers’ understanding of cyber risks and coverage.

CFC will also host educational webinars on 3 and 18 September.
