China Pacific Insurance pushes for diversity, stability in 30th anniversary

It will deepen efforts in health-related business development.

China Pacific Insurance Corporation (CPIC) will promote “diversified and stable development” as it marks its 30th anniversary, an announcement read.

The insurer will continue to deepen its efforts in health-related business development through a medical big data platform, where it will be able to accelerate the construction of a comprehensive and full-coverage insurance service value chain that integrates health services with its core insurance business.

CPIC has also labeled regional development as one of the development focuses, with goals to improve customer experience standard in the Yangtze River Delta whilst strengthening innovation and leadership in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and activating the coordinated development for the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region, Chengdu-Chongqing Zone, and Yangtze River Economic Belt.

In addition, with its technological empowerment strategy, the group hopes to achieve three major breakthroughs in scientific and technological efficiency, data services and innovation mechanisms.

It will focus on the implementation of five technological capabilities, including governance and control, research and development, data services, platform collaboration, and innovation and transformation, to achieve high-quality development, the announcement said.
