Chola MS General Insurance expands North India presence with new office

The New Delhi facility is Chola MS’s 17th company-owned office in India.

Cholamandalam MS General Insurance Company Ltd., a joint venture between the Murugappa Group and Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Group, has opened a new zonal office at the World Trade Centre in New Delhi.

The facility, established with an investment of ₹65 crore, is part of the company’s plan to strengthen its footprint in North India.

North India currently contributes 21.6% to Chola MS’s overall business.

The insurer aims to increase this to 30%, with a focus on property, motor, and health insurance segments.

The region now services over 200,000 customers, supported by a multi-channel distribution network that includes agents, brokers, bancassurance, digital platforms, and microinsurance channels.

The New Delhi facility is Chola MS’s 17th company-owned office in India.

Chola MS is also investing in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities whilst extending its reach in rural markets.
