Chubb and Atome forge regional partnership for consumer protection

Both entities are also planning to release a second insurance product in Q2’24.

Chubb and Atome have announced a regional partnership to enhance consumer protection across the region. This collaboration will facilitate the co-creation of insurance products available to Atome’s customers in Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Indonesia.

The initial offering, Bill Secure, is currently accessible in Singapore and will soon be introduced in Malaysia.

Designed for consumers utilising buy now, pay later services, Bill Secure provides coverage up to five times the transaction amount for permanent disability or accidental death.

The claims payout allows the insured or their next-of-kin to settle the purchase payment, with the remaining balance allocated to the insured or their estate.
