Chubb names ex-AIG exec to lead commercial P&C in APAC

Chris Colahan will also be part of Chubb’s APAC executive committee.

Chubb has appointed Chris Colahan as head of commercial property & casualty, Asia Pacific, effective 9 February 2027.

He has overall operating responsibility for Chubb’s commercial property & casualty in the region. Colahan joins Chubb’s Asia Pacific executive committee.

Colahan joins Chubb from AIG, where he was regional president for Asia Pacific. He had previously held senior roles in Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance in London and Australia; and at RSA Insurance.

Colahan reports to Marcos Gunn, regional president of Chubb Overseas General, Asia Pacific; and Brian Church, division president, property & casualty, Chubb Overseas General.
