Chubb reshuffles leadership in Asia
New leaders were appointed for Singapore and Hong Kong.
Global property and casualty insurance firm Chubb has announced new leaders for its Singapore and Hong Kong businesses.
For Singapore, Kevin Bogardus was named country president, replacing Scott Simpson, subject to regulatory approval. In his new role as Country President for Singapore, Bogardus will have overall responsibility for the growth and financial results of the operations across all lines of business like property & casualty, accident & health and personal Lines.
Bogardus will also manage all affinity partnerships and drive efforts to deepen and grow these. Bogardus is currently the country president for Chubb in China. He will relocate from China to Singapore for his role and will report to Edward Ler, Chubb's Executive Vice President and Head of Southeast Asia.
Meanwhile, Simpson has been appointed as the new president of Chubb’s Hong Kong and Macao general insurance business. Simpson replaces Doug White who will return to his former role as Chubb's Head of Major Accounts for Asia Pacific.
As the new President for Hong Kong and Macau,. Simpson will have overall responsibility for the growth and financial results of the operations across all lines of business i.e. property & casualty, accident & health and personal lines, similar to his role as country president in Singapore.
