Cigna Healthcare appoints new APAC CEO

He previously served as Chief Financial Officer for the Asia Pacific region.

Cigna Healthcare, International Health has named Rob Peat as its new Chief Executive Officer of Asia Pacific.

His role will begin on 1 April and he will report to Jason Sadler, President, International Health.

Peat will oversee operations in Hong Kong, Singapore, mainland China, and Australia, focusing on accelerating growth and enhancing market integration.

Peat has been with Cigna Healthcare for 22 years, beginning as an actuarial expert before taking on key financial leadership roles. 

He previously served as Chief Financial Officer for the Asia Pacific region, the €ope, Middle East, and Africa region, and most recently, International Health.

Following Peat’s transition, Shaun MacKenzie will assume the role of Chief Financial Officer, International Health, also effective April 1, 2025. 

MacKenzie has been with Cigna Healthcare for 17 years, holding various actuarial, finance, and strategy roles.
