Coface appoints Carmen Chow to lead Hong Kong commercial strategy

Former CGS Japanese Solutions head takes over regional performance goals.

Trade credit insurer Coface has appointed Carmen Chow as Head of Commercial for Hong Kong, effective 1 April. 

Chow will lead the company’s commercial performance strategy and oversee client engagement within the Hong Kong market.

In her new role, Chow reports directly to Chris Murphy, Chief Executive and General Manager for Hong Kong, and Peter Solomon, the Chief Commercial Officer for the Asia Pacific region.

Chow joined Coface in 2021 and most recently served as the Head of Account Management for CGS Japanese Solutions. 

During that tenure, she managed strategic retention, new business development, and portfolio migration initiatives.

Her professional background includes over 10 years of sales and leadership experience across the trade, finance, and insurance industries, including previous roles at Itochu, Asahi, and SMFL.
