Coface appoints Darren Chan to lead Malaysia and Philippines

Prior to his current appointment, he was the head of Commercial of Coface Japan. 

Coface, a trade credit risk management company, has appointed Darren Chan as Country Manager for Malaysia and head of the Philippines.

Chan is responsible for the overall business and the company’s strategic direction in both Malaysia and the Philippines. 

He reports to Hugh Burke, Chief Executive Officer, Asia Pacific, Coface.

Since joining Coface in 2016, Chan has established a strong track record across key markets in the region. 

Prior to his current appointment, he was the head of Commercial of Coface Japan. 

He is a highly experienced and respected commercial leader, having held similar roles in Hong Kong, China, and Malaysia.
