Fanhua appoints new co-chairman and CSO

Ben Lin has been appointed due to his extensive knowledge of the global insurance industry.

Fanhua Inc., an independent financial services provider in China, announced the appointment of Ben Lin as co-chairman of the board of directors and Chief Strategy Officer. 

Lin, a trained actuary with over 18 years of experience in the financial services industry, brings exceptional leadership skills and a successful track record to the role. 

He will play a key part in shaping Fanhua's strategic direction, driving overseas expansion, and ensuring success in capital markets.

With extensive knowledge of the global insurance industry, Lin held notable positions at organisations such as Capital Group and Morgan Stanley.

He graduated from Macquarie University with a Master of Commerce degree and a Bachelor of Commerce degree, specialising in Actuary Studies. 

His deep industry understanding and insight into emerging trends will be instrumental as Fanhua aims to become a prominent independent financial advisory company in Asia.

Working closely with Yinan Hu, Co-Chairman of the board and Chief Executive Officer, Lin will lead the board in setting strategic priorities, overseeing corporate governance, and ensuring long-term success for the company.
