FM Global receives an insurance license in South Korea

The firm is also a licensed reinsurer in the country.

FM Global has been awarded a license to establish an insurance branch in South Korea.

With its new license, FM Global said it will continue the expansion of the company’s global network. In addition to continuing to serve global clients in South Korea, FM Global is actively seeking to work with Korean clients. FM Global will continue to work in partnership with its existing partners as a licensed reinsurer in Korea as well as create value for new business partners and clients.

Shim Yong-Ju will be FM Global’s Branch Manager in Seoul. He will be leading the expansion in the country with his team of underwriters.

FM Global is a mutual insurance company based in the US that has offices around the world and specialises in loss prevention services.
