Former Allianz chief takes on new position at Prudential

He will take on the newly created position of Group Strategic Transformation Officer.

Prudential has appointed Solmaz Altin to the new position of Group Strategic Transformation Officer.

Altin has 25 years of experience as a business leader. He was formerly the regional CEO for Asia-Pacific at Allianz where he was improving its footprint in the region and increasing operating profits as well as establishing new insurance and asset management entities in China.

Prior to that, Altin was Group Chief Digital Officer at Allianz Group, driving lasting transformative and cultural changes with customer-centric digital strategies.  

Altin joined Prudential on 1 May and will be based in Singapore.
