FWD and ESDlife debut health and wellness platform
The insurer saw health insurance claims surge last year by 18%.
FWD Hong Kong and ESDlife jointly unveiled the MAX Health Shop, a platform which offers health and wellness alternatives to its customers amidst the market’s rising health insurance claims in 2023.
Additionally, the platform will offer over 2,000 health checkup options, products from more than 100 healthcare brands, and a network of over 70 medical partners.
FWD is the first insurer to collaborate with ESDlife, a health e-commerce platform in Hong Kong.
FWD Hong Kong's 2023 claims report showed a significant rise in health insurance claims, with 43,802 cases paid out, an 18% increase from the previous year.
Users can easily compare, select, and book health and wellness products and services on the platform, using MAX points as cash for their purchases. FWD Care members, those with any FWD critical illness or medical insurance policies, can enjoy offers and value-added services such as skin care, body shaping, and Chinese medicine hair care services. These products and services will be available from late August.
