FWD Hong Kong partners GBAH on outpatient coverage across six China cities

The plan leverages GBAH’s network of more than 240 clinics.

FWD Hong Kong has launched the GBAssure Outpatient Plan, a new cross-border medical product developed in partnership with The GBA Healthcare Group (GBAH). 

GBAssure offers outpatient medical services across Hong Kong, Macau, and six Mainland China cities within the Greater Bay Area (GBA). 

The plan leverages GBAH’s network of more than 240 clinics and several public-private hospital partnerships to provide services ranging from general consultations and specialist care to diagnostics, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), dental care, and colonoscopy screenings. 

The plan is available to clients and their designated family members with no cap on the number of beneficiaries.

Under GBAssure, clients can access in-person and online consultations with family doctors, with medical services aligned to Hong Kong’s quality standards. 

Features include co-payment waivers for non-prescription online consultations, shared electronic medical records, and online direct payment systems.

The collaboration marks another partnership between GBAH and global insurers such as AIA Hong Kong, Taiping Life Hong Kong, CTF Life, AXA Tianping Insurance, and Ping An Insurance Group. 

GBAH is expanding its services to FWD Hong Kong clients amidst rising demand for cross-border healthcare amongst Hong Kong and Macau residents.
