GCash offers free insurance with mobile load purchases via GInsure

Eligible users can receive up to $540.

GCash has launched a new initiative that provides free health and accident insurance to users who buy prepaid mobile load using its Buy Load feature.

The insurance is also underwritten by FPG Insurance and made available through GCash’s GInsure platform.

Eligible users can receive up to $540 (₱30,000) in insurance coverage at no extra cost.

The benefit includes income assistance of $9 (₱500) per day for up to five days of hospitalisation due to illness or accident, and up to $180 (₱10,000) in disablement benefits.

Ren-Ren Reyes, president and CEO of G-Xchange Inc., the operator of GCash, added that the benefit offers users financial relief during medical recovery, helping prevent debt and easing the financial burden on families.
