Generali reels in new chief transformation officer

She was previously the CEO for the Mediterranean, Middle East, and Africa at Coface.

Generali has appointed Cécile Paillard as group chief transformation officer, beginning 2 September,

Paillard will report directly to the general manager, Marco Sesana. Paillard will accelerate the Group's transformation, focusing on digitalisation and innovation in customer experience and distribution networks, which are crucial for the Lifetime Partner model. 

She will also join the Group Management Committee.

Paillard brings over 25 years of experience in financial services, with expertise in strategic planning and innovation. 

She previously served as CEO for the Mediterranean, Middle East, and Africa at Coface Group and held various senior roles at AXA.
