Hak Hong Soo takes seat as Generali Philippines’ President and CEO

He was previously the regional head of health.

Generali Philippines announced the appointment of Dr. Hak Hong Soo as its new President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Before assuming the role of CEO at Generali Philippines, Soo held the position of Regional Head of Health and was an Executive Member of the International – Asia Regional Office. 

In this role, he played a pivotal part in fortifying the regional health sector and expediting the company's transformative initiatives. 

His background includes a Ph.D. in Insurance, Economics, and Econometrics, and he is an Associate Member of the Society of Actuaries.

Soo has expertise in technical and managerial proficiency, encompassing product strategy, pricing, actuarial health portfolio management, financial oversight, health business advancement, customer relations, and regional partnerships across Asia.

He takes over from Reynaldo Centeno, who officially retired on 31 December 2022.
