HDI Global expands ESG Risk Solutions team with three senior leaders

The appointments follow HDI Global’s rollout of environmental coverage in late 2024.

HDI Global has appointed three executives to lead its ESG Risk Solutions division as it launches ESG coverage worldwide.

Chris Strong, formerly Environmental Practice Leader at WTW, becomes head of ESG Risk Solutions, based in Manchester. 

He will oversee the global portfolio and report to Mark Appleton, head of Liability Underwriting Global.

Thordis Jensen, based in Cologne, has been named head of ESG Risk Solutions International, whilst Ludovic Ruiller, based in Paris, becomes head of ESG Solutions Europe and Lead Underwriter ESG France. Both report to Strong.

The appointments follow HDI Global’s rollout of environmental coverage in late 2024 and mark the addition of Social and Governance extensions to its global offering.
