HDI Global names Bode as new head of reinsurance after Fischer

In her dual role, Bode will continue to report to Stefan Pasternak, CFO of HDI Global.

The Talanx Group has expanded the role of Stephanie Bode, and has been appointed head of Reinsurance at HDI Global and she will also lead the Corporate & Specialty Lines department at Talanx Group Reinsurance.

In her dual role, Bode will continue to report to Stefan Pasternak, CFO of HDI Global, and will additionally report to Oliver Grabau, Head of Talanx Group Reinsurance. 

The consolidation of functions is intended to align reinsurance purchasing across the Group and strengthen HDI Global’s market presence.

Bode succeeds Rainer Fischer as Head of Reinsurance at HDI Global following his retirement after nine years in the role. Fischer will remain with the company in an advisory capacity. Within Talanx Group Reinsurance, she replaces Antje Pfitzner, who has moved to head of Group Reinsurance Retail & Group Protection & Counter Party Risk Management.
