HDI Global names Tikhonov to lead marine risk operations
He succeeds Felix Cassau, who has taken up a new role at Hannover Re.
HDI Global has appointed Nikita Tikhonov as its new head of Marine Global Risk, effective 1 September.
He will be based at the company’s Hannover headquarters and will report to Carsten Schulte, head of Marine Underwriting.
Tikhonov will lead a team of five professionals focused on HDI Global’s marine value proposition.
He succeeds Felix Cassau, who has taken up a new role at Hannover Re.
Tikhonov began his career as a marine and property underwriter in Russia before joining HDI Global in 2018.
At the company, he initially built a new portfolio in marine cargo and accident & health, and later worked as a global risk underwriter, supporting branch offices worldwide in developing their automotive portfolios.
