Howden Hong Kong unveils new CEO

Alfred Sham will take on the role of Chief Strategy Officer, Asia.

Howden announced a leadership transition in its Hong Kong business, effective 1 July.

Alaric Lee has been appointed CEO, Hong Kong, succeeding Alfred Sham, who will relocate to Singapore to take on the role of Chief Strategy Officer, Asia.

Lee is currently Chief Commercial Officer, Asia, and brings extensive experience across the region, including more than a decade in Hong Kong where he built deep relationships and strong market expertise.

In his new role, Lee will lead Howden’s Hong Kong business, focusing on building on its strong momentum, deepening client relationships, and driving continued growth in one of the region’s most important markets.

Sham has led the Hong Kong business for the past two years, during which time it has doubled in size.

He will now take on a broader regional remit as Chief Strategy Officer, Asia, where he will focus on driving Howden’s growth ambitions through new initiatives, acquisitions and entry into new markets.
