India's non-life insurance sector dips 6.53% YoY in September 

Year-to-date, the sector rose by 7.02%.

India’s non-life insurance sector dipped 6.53% in September on a year-on-year (YoY) basis, data from the General Insurance Council of India.

Year-to-date, the sector rose by 7.02%.

General insurers held the largest share, with 85.57%, slightly increasing from the 85.28% the previous year. Stand Alone health insurers’ share was at 10.16%, smaller than the 11.84% in 2023.
