Joe Pickford is Tokio Marine Kiln’s new aviation underwriter

He will be based in Singapore.

Tokio Marine Kiln (TMK) has announced the appointment of Joe Pickford as an aviation underwriter in its Singapore-based aviation division, effective immediately.

With nine years of experience in aviation broking and underwriting, Pickford joins TMK from Gallagher, where he played a pivotal role in servicing accounts across international markets in the Asia Pacific region. 

His prior roles include aviation underwriting positions at Sirius International Group and Asia Capital Reinsurance Group.

In his new role, Pickford will concentrate on delivering tailored solutions to clients and brokers to meet the growing demand in this sector.

This appointment aligns with TMK's ongoing efforts to expand its presence and business in the Asia Pacific region, where it has been active since 2007. Recent additions to the team also include special risks underwriter Cindy Gunawan and cyber underwriter Sam Bye.
