Malayan Insurance upgrades catastrophe risk analytics with Moody's modeller

The insurer said it aims to gain a comprehensive understanding of risks across regions and perils. 

Malayan Insurance, a non-life insurance provider in the Philippines, has licensed Moody’s RMS Risk Modeler to bolster its natural catastrophe risk analytics. 

Malayan Insurance said in a media announcement it commits to strengthening its in-house capabilities and solidifying its position as a top natural catastrophe insurer in the Philippines and across Asia.

By leveraging data-driven modelling and advanced analytics through Risk Modeler, which operates on the cloud-native Intelligent Risk Platform, Malayan Insurance aims to gain a comprehensive understanding of risks across regions and perils. 

This will enable the company to make informed decisions, enhance risk management strategies, and improve the long-term profitability of its business.
