Malaysia Life Re enters family retakaful market

As part of its philanthropic efforts, MLRe contributed RM20,000 to two Tahfiz institutions during the launch event.

Malaysian Life Reinsurance (MLRe) has secured a retakaful license, marking a strategic expansion into the Family Retakaful sector. 

The license allows MLRe to offer family retakaful services, aligning with its commitment to advancing the takaful business.

The official launch ceremony, attended by Deputy Governor of Bank Negara Malaysia Adnan Zaylani Mohamad Zahid, highlighted MLRe's path to supporting the family takaful market for sustainable growth. 

MLRe said it aims to lead the retakaful sector's growth and contribute to Malaysia's broader economic and social objectives in Islamic finance. 

The company plans to introduce customised retakaful solutions, setting new standards in service excellence and innovation in the Islamic financial ecosystem.
