Markel Insurance strengthens PFR team with Quigan appointment
Quigan will oversee underwriting strategies for new and renewal business.
Markel Insurance, part of Markel Group Inc., has appointed Joanna Quigan as senior underwriter, Professional and Financial Risks (PFR), effective immediately.
Based in Melbourne, Quigan will oversee underwriting strategies for new and renewal business within Markel’s PFR portfolio in Australia, with a focus on Professional Indemnity.
She will report to Kym Beazleigh, head of Professional and Financial Risks.
Quigan brings nearly two decades of liability insurance experience to the role. She joins from Delta Insurance Group New Zealand, where she served as Cyber Product Lead.
Her previous roles include senior positions at Marsh & McLennan and AIG Insurance in New Zealand.
