Microsoft, Singlife push for AI adoption amongst insurers

Singlife is the first in its industry to collaborate with Microsoft for the programme in ASEAN.

Singlife and Microsoft announced a partnership to boost generative artificial intelligence (AI) adoption amongst insurance startups.

The Singaporean insurer is the first from its industry to team up with Microsoft for the ASEAN Startups Programme targeted toward starting insurtechs.

Further, the programme aims to identify startups for the Singlife Connect Plus (SCP) program, an advanced version of Singlife's accelerator and venture-building initiative.

SCP focuses on scalable insurance distribution solutions and offers personalised mentorship, access to Singlife's products and insurance, as well as regulatory and compliance support for go-to-market strategies. 

Microsoft will provide technical guidance, execution support, workshops on applying Generative AI, access to Microsoft Founders Hub and partners like OpenAI, LinkedIn, and Github. 

Startups selected through this collaboration will also be nominated for the Microsoft Pegasus program.
