Miller appoints Guy Pierpoint to marine team

He will expand the firm's North American book of business.

Miller, a reinsurance broker, has appointed Guy Pierpoint to its marine team in a leadership role focused on business development.

Reporting to Jake Jauncey, Head of MTL, and Phil Wheeler, Head of Marine, Pierpoint will work to expand Miller's North American book of business.

Joining Miller in November, Pierpoint brings nearly four decades of experience in marine insurance across London and international markets. His previous roles include serving as a portfolio manager for British Marine, a QBE subsidiary, where he managed its protection and indemnity book across London and Singapore. 

Additionally, he was a senior executive director at Atlantic Insurance Brokers, where he developed its retail broking business in Houston, Texas, and drove business development in London.
