Miller names Cumberland to newly created global broking role

He was most recently Executive Director at Howden.

Miller has appointed Paul Cumberland as Chief Broking Officer, a newly created global role reporting directly to Group CEO James Hands.

Cumberland has more than 25 years of experience in broking, underwriting, and portfolio management, having held senior positions at Aon, Markel, and Marsh. 

He was most recently Executive Director at Howden, where he focused on portfolio analytics, delegated placement, market consultancy, and strategic trading.

In his new role, he will lead Miller’s strategic market engagement, data-driven innovation, and service development.
