MS Amlin onboards Moody’s RMS

MS Amlin will utilise Moody’s cloud-native applications for underwriting, capital and pricing.

Lloyd’s global (re)insurer, MS Amlin, has partnered with catastrophe risk modelling and solutions, Moody’s RMS, to improve data management and functionality.

As part of this partnership, MS Amlin will leverage several applications provided by Moody’s, including Exposure IQ, Risk Modeler, and Treaty IQ.

These cloud-native applications, integrated into Moody’s RMS Intelligent Risk Platform, will improve MS Amlin's analytical capabilities and provide essential insights to its underwriting, capital, and pricing teams, the insurer said in a press release.

The platform will also support decision-making regarding business planning, risk assessment, and internal capital modelling.
