MSIG Asia backs Ancileo to embed travel cover in bookings

The deal includes an equity stake and a regional tie-up focused on tailored digital protection products

MSIG Asia announced an equity investment and regional partnership with Ancileo, a travel insurance technology provider.

MSIG, a general insurer with a presence in markets including Singapore, Thailand and Hong Kong, said the partnership will support the development of more personalised and digitally integrated travel protection products.

These offerings are expected to be embedded into booking platforms used by airlines, online travel agencies, and other travel partners.

The companies said the collaboration will allow travel insurance to be offered directly at the point of purchase, reflecting growing demand from travellers for seamless, digital-first experiences.

It is also intended to simplify expansion across multiple markets by reducing operational complexity for distribution partners.
