MSIG, Serenity target gaps in local health coverage

It plans to expand to Indonesia and Vietnam.

MSIG Asia has partnered with Serenity Health Partners by becoming its major shareholder. The partnership aims to bridge the gap between local health insurance products and International Private Medical Insurance (IPMI).

This collaboration introduces Regional Private Medical Insurance (RPMI), combining comprehensive and affordable coverage for Asian markets.

This venture begins in Singapore, with plans to expand to Indonesia and Vietnam.

RPMI, Serenity's key offering, addresses the limitations of local insurance products by offering an alternative to IPMI, with extensive regional coverage. It leverages advanced insure-tech to enhance policy management and claims processing.

Serenity said it aims to maintain stable and affordable healthcare coverage by implementing robust cost-containment strategies and emphasising transparency, accountability, and integrity in its operations.
