MSIG S’pore launches anti-scam fix

The initiative is set to commence integration next month.

Insurer MSIG has joined forces with Dedoco and Embed Global to launch an anti-scam initiative in Singapore. The collaboration aims to address the rising threat of digital fraud, particularly phishing scams, with a new message verification platform called PingTM.

As revealed in a 2023 report by the Singapore Police Force, scam cases have surged by 64.5% in the first half of the year.

The initiative not only focuses on verifying and reporting malicious communications but also streamlining access to cyber insurance for local businesses.

MSIG is the first insurer to deploy PingTM, integrating it across digital platforms for secure communication verification.

The initiative is set to commence integration in December 2023, providing an end-to-end cyber protection cover for SME clients.
