NEXEA allies with Allianz, Exitra, Spritzer for start-up support

The collaboration aims to boost the growth of the startup ecosystem in Malaysia and beyond.

Malaysian-based start-up accelerator NEXEA has partnered with Allianz General Insurance Malaysia, Exitra, Spritzer to build start-up ecosystem connectivity.

The alliance between NEXEA and Allianz hopes to boost innovation and fuel the growth of the startup ecosystem in Malaysia and beyond.

The Startup-Corporate Matching Programme by NEXEA connects startups with corporates for market expansion, partnerships, investments, and acquisitions.

It provides benefits such as gaining corporate clients, building relationships with potential acquirers, improving collaboration with corporates, and accessing investment and strategic partnership opportunities.

Annually, the programme pairs 30 startups with 10 corporations, introducing each startup to five to ten potential partners. On average, there are five successful matches.

The programme operates over six months, emphasising focused and efficient collaboration.

Previous cohorts have experienced notable success, raising an impressive RM4.5m in funding.

The programme welcomes startups from diverse sectors and stages, as long as they possess a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and a compelling value proposition for the corporates.

Selected startups will participate in workshops, mentoring sessions, pitching sessions, and networking events alongside corporates and other stakeholders.
