Nippon Life’s net income surges 63% YoY in 9M 2024

Ordinary expenses narrowed to $3.2b.

Nippon Life’s consolidated net income for the nine months to December (9M 2024) jumped 63% year-on-year (YoY) to $3.2b (¥475b).

However, ordinary income dipped 3.1% YoY to $56.5t (¥8.44t). Meanwhile, ordinary expenses narrowed by 5.3% YoY to $53.6t (¥8t).

The amount of policies in-force for the period totalled 34.4 million. Total new policies for the period saw 2.9 million.
