Oona Insurance partners with Tesla on free Model Y coverage

They will offer 12 months of coverage supported by Oona’s digital claims service.

Oona Insurance Philippines has partnered with Tesla to provide one year of complimentary comprehensive coverage for all new Model Y vehicles delivered in the Philippines within the promotional period.

The partnership allows Tesla buyers to activate their Oona policy upon vehicle delivery, offering 12 months of coverage supported by Oona’s digital claims service and 24/7 roadside assistance. 

The promotion applies to Model Y units purchased between 1 October and 26 November, 2025.

The collaboration comes as electric vehicle (EV) adoption in the Philippines continues to rise, with 18,439 units (6% of total industry sales) sold in the first eight months of 2025, according to data from the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI) and the Truck Manufacturers Association (TMA). 

Tesla led the battery electric vehicle segment with more than 1,800 units sold.
