Pacific Life Re has appointed Kenichi Kim as head of South Korea, placing him in charge of the company’s operations and growth in the market.

Kim joined Pacific Life Re in 2022 and was tasked with expanding its protection lines of business across Asia.

In 2023, he also began supporting the South Korea client solutions team to help strengthen the company’s position in the market.

He has more than 15 years of experience in financial services and reinsurance, having worked in Hong Kong, Japan, and Singapore.
