
Ping An Health’s Q1 2025 earnings hit $8m
70% of Ping An Life’s new business value came from health and senior care services.
Ping An Health’s first quarter (Q1 2025) net profit saw a double-digit increase, reaching $8.11m (RMB57.9m) during the period.
Similarly, the China-based insurer saw its revenue surge 25.8% year-on-year (YoY) to $0.15b (RMB1.06b).
The company saw strong performance in its integrated finance and corporate health management businesses. Revenue from these segments, referred to as the F-end and B-end, grew by 43% YoY. The number of paying users on the B-end rose by more than 45%.
By the end of 2024, about 70% of Ping An Life’s new business value came from customers using health and senior care services.
More than 21 million Ping An Life customers accessed health management services, with a usage rate increase of 2.1 percentage points compared to the previous year.
Nearly 79% of new contractual customers used these services. On the corporate side, the number of enterprises served exceeded 2,100.
Ping An Health also scaled up its AI capabilities. Its AI-powered system supports diagnosis of over 2,000 diseases, with triage accuracy exceeding 99% and diagnostic accuracy above 95%.
A new AI health manager has helped improve chronic disease indicators in 90% of cases.
