Policybazaar aims to launch 100 retail stores across India

Through the stores, clients can lodge queries or service requests.

Indian online insurance platform Policybazaar is hoping to launch 100 retail stores across India, according to media reports.

The platform, which has recently received its insurance broking licence, currently has 15 offline outlets.

The stores will provide customers with a physical presence where they can lodge queries or service requests, the platform said. Clients will have access to Policybazaar’s proprietary compulsion engines that will help them choose and compare products, reports stated.

The broking licence will allow Policybazaar to assist on claims, conduct offline services, and build points of presence network.
