Premiums of Cambodia’s insurers bag $30m in February

This was smaller than January’s $43m.

Cambodian insurers saw their gross premiums in January jump by 10.12% year-on-year (YoY) to $29.8m, data from the Insurance Regulator of Cambodia showed.

Although this was smaller than January’s $42.7m.

The life industry increased by 11.53% YoY to $18.4m, whilst the number of policies jumped 47% to 116,174.

Similarly, its general insurance sector increased by 7.9% YoY to $11.3m. Likewise, the number of policies surged 181.7% YoY to 66,713 during the period.
