Pru Life UK opens new BGC headquarters in Manila

The insurer’s total workspace in the country is now at 100,000 sq ft.

Pru Life UK (Philippines) unveiled its new headquarters located in BGC Uptown, Manila. The office measures 51,000-square-feet (sq ft), thanks to Instant Group.

The Instant Group completed this third office space for Pru Life UK, using its Managed Office product – a dedicated workspace which incorporates the client’s brand and specifications.

This latest project follows the successful delivery of two earlier Pru Life UK offices, bringing the total workspace delivered by Instant for the insurance company to 100,000 sq ft, housing over 6,000 agents and employees across the country.

The BGC head office is designed to enhance sustainability, energy efficiency, productivity, and employee well-being. 

The office supports over 800 employees and features three main collaboration areas: the Hive, a multifunctional space for town halls and events with a 4.5m x 1.9m video screen wall and architectural ceiling design; the Sanctuary, offering formal and informal work settings; and the Huddle, designated for training and development. 

Recreational spaces include the Mini Hive, a tiered stadium for collaboration, and additional amenities such as a mother’s room, multi-faith prayer room, library, clinic, marketing creative studio, and IT service hub.

The company said sustainability was a key focus, with energy-efficient lighting and the reuse of existing furniture and audiovisual assets.
