Prudential to potentially list India-based ICICI Pru AMC

The net proceeds will be returned to shareholders if followed through.

Prudential announced that it is assessing a possible listing of ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company Limited, which would involve a partial divestment of its shares.

The plan is subject to market conditions, regulatory approvals, and other considerations, it said in an announcement.

The company stated that if the divestment proceeds, the net proceeds will be returned to shareholders.

Prudential emphasised India's significance as a key market with strong growth potential and reaffirmed its commitment to expanding its presence in the country.
