QBE names new CEO for South Asia and head of Partnerships in Asia

Both will be based in Singapore and report to Rob Kosova, CEO of QBE Asia.

QBE has appointed Stephen Geisler as CEO of South Asia and Ross Bethell as head of Partnerships for Asia.

Both will be based in Singapore and report to Rob Kosova, CEO of QBE Asia.

Geisler will take on the South Asia CEO role from 23 September, succeeding Ronak Shah, who was recently named CEO of Wholesale Markets Asia. 

Geisler has been with QBE for more than 35 years, holding senior roles across underwriting and management in global and Asian markets. 

In his new role, he will lead QBE Singapore directly and provide oversight of QBE Malaysia.

Bethell will assume his position on 1 September, managing QBE’s international broker channels and partnerships across Asia. 

He was most recently Chief Client Officer of South Asia at Marsh and has over 20 years of experience in client management and distribution.
