Samsung Life Insurance names Lee Seung-Ho as its new company president

He previously led the digital division at Samsung Securities.

Samsung Life Insurance has named Lee Seung-ho as its new president.

Lee most recently served as executive vice president and head of the insurer’s Task Force for Enhancing Financial Competitiveness.

He previously led the digital division at Samsung Securities and headed the asset management division at Samsung Life Insurance. 

Lee has overseen the financial competitiveness task force since late 2022, a role in which he is regarded to have strengthened the insurer’s management operations.

Samsung Life said it will soon finalise and announce its regular 2026 executive appointments for roles at and below the executive vice president level.
